Regardless, chances are you're going to develop a soft spot for the silent Crono. Until you reach the end of the game, Crono will have to stay in your party - not necessarily a bad thing considering he's easily the most powerful character in the game.
That's not to say that you're going to have much of a choice in the matter, of course. With powerful physical attacks, incredible techs and the eventual ability to use Lightning-based magic, Crono is an obvious mainstay in your party. Below is a list of the seven characters in the game, and a little blurb about each (listed in the order that they join your party).Ĭrono | Crono is the game's main character, a character formed in the typical "silent hero" motif (much like Link in the Legend of Zelda games). Your Partyįor a vast majority of the game, you will have up to six characters available to you, though a seventh character, quite familiar to your party, will join near the end of the game under the right circumstances. While our walkthrough is an awesome source to get through what is in essence an extremely linear main quest, you can always travel back and forth in time to different places to speak with people, visit locations, and see how you've managed to change the past and the future by your actions. However, by the time you reach the End of Time and subsequently find the Epoch, you'll be able to travel between times and places with relative immunity. In a basic sense, our walkthrough will get you through the game (and all of the time travelling elements required in order to beat the game) with no issues whatsoever. But time travelling doesn't have to be a difficult affair. Slowly but surely, the team is able to find multiple rips through space and time that bring them to all sorts of times in history, from way, way in the past, to the desolate future after the world has already been obliterated. Without spoiling too much of the story, let's just say that Crono (the main character - no "H" in his name) and his friends Lucca and Marle stumble accidentally upon a tear in spacetime.
